Lost another pound! They are coming off MUCH slower now but I think that persistence will pay off! My goal is to be at 155 when we leave for vacation on June 16th. We'll see if the stars align to make that happen! I bought some shorts and swim suits for my trip to Hawaii in August too. Hopefully they will be the right size as I am still hoping to loose 10 pounds before we go.

Exercise: ran 4 miles...
...kind of. It was supposed to be 45 minute fartlek training. I did 25 minutes but then started to notice a little pain in my knee that I tweaked on Saturday during my run and I also started feeling some pain in my left hamstring that has been a little tight the last few days. So instead of finishing the second half of the fartlek run 4 minutes fast, jog 1 minute slow and repeat, I set the incline to 10 and finished up at a brisk walk at the fastest I could without feeling any pain but yet I was still breathing hard and pouring sweat! It works for me. I started in on Ibuprofen every 4 hours and massaged my hamstring for quite awhile this afternoon and plan on doing it more tonight and then again tomorrow, and also iced my knee just in case. I don't think I did any real damage since there is no sharp pain but I'm just trying to be aware and careful.
I also have my weight class tonight and we are doing Yoga. The last time I did Yoga I laughed the ENTIRE time! I guess I have no core strength as well as really bad balance! It was quite funny! I've been working on my abs quite a bit too because I have ZERO strength in my abs. Bummer. Gotta suck that flabby skin in somehow, Target area for me is definitely my gut!
I did really good today eating right when I woke up and having a mid morning snack with a protein in it and then having a good lunch, I had tuna and craisons and pretzels and tons of water. YUM! Feeling good today!
