It's been awhile! I got out of the habit of posting every day and now I can't seem to get back into it! I'm still on my plateau and haven't lost any weight recently. I'm stuck now between 159.2 and 159.6. I'm hoping that persistence will pay off and I'll start loosing again soon. I'm still on track with my training schedule and in fact I've been thinking that I need to redo my training schedule since I started out on a VERY beginners schedule (couch to marathon) and I don't think I'm still there. I ran this morning 3 miles in just under 27 minutes (8:53 average for the whole distance). That's the fastest I've ran outside before. I can do 3 miles at 8:30 min/mile when I'm on the treadmill but I've never gone that fast outside when I'M the one propelling myself. Has anyone else found that? You can go much faster for much longer on the treadmill? Maybe it's just me. But anyway. I did a 12 mile run up in Heber last Saturday while we were up there for a Relief Society retreat. It was SO GREAT! I did step on a rock though around mile 10 and kind of tweaked my knee. I jogged for a bit but then ended up having to walk the last mile and a half. Bummer. I took an ice bath when I got back and I felt 100% after that. I took some ibuprofen just to be sure and iced it a little more that day just in case even though I didn't have any more pain. I was worried about it when I went out for my run today because I was worried that it'd feel fine until I had to run and use the same muscles that hurt while I was running before, but it was totally fine. No issues, no pain, just good! Anyway!
I've still been trying to eat really healthy and limit if not eliminate completely my deserts and treats and make sure I get tons of fruits and vegetables and water and plenty of protein. I'm watching portion size and making sure to get two healthy snacks a day. But I haven't been keeping track of it recently.
