Weight Class

I started going to a weight class twice a week and we started off my evaluating our fitness level in all sorts of areas and we took body measurements and also did a body fat to lean muscle ratio. Right now I am at 33% body fat and I should be between 18 and 25%. So that is that! We did more weights last night after we finished our body fat testing and it was a lot of fun, I'm excited to be doing this. My training schedule for the marathon has be running 3 miles on Tuesday and Thursday and cross training on Monday and Wednesday and then going for my long run on Saturday. That is perfect since my weight class is Monday and Wednesday, so there's my cross training! I've been super sick this week and was bummed that I didn't really work out until weights last night and running this morning. I felt like a huge slacker! But I figure since I was sick I didn't eat much so I wouldn't go backwards and gain weight even though I wasn't exercising. I guess that's a good thing. I've been trying really hard to remember to eat small meals and healthy snacks between meals as well as drinking tons of water. The water I've got down, but I HATE that our water dispenser on the fridge is SO SLOW!!! It takes forever to fill up a glass and I've found that I'm not drinking NEARLY as much water as I was when we had our other fridge! Bummer! Maybe I should get one of those jugs that goes in your fridge to get water from, but that just seems so dumb to do since we HAVE a water dispenser on the fridge, it just moves like molasses! We've tried to fidget with it and get it to come out faster, but it's as good as its gonna get, which isn't that great! But oh well! enough sob story! I also thought that a blog post might work better for keeping track of weight, exercise and eating rather than the list on the side of the blog. So here goes!
